Have liked on facebook, great competition. Fingers crossed!
To get my girlies to sleep at night they always go to bed after a warm glass of milk, story and snuggle in bed, then lights off. We always go up to see the girls after about 5 mins to check that they are ok and for extra kisses. Full tummies and big hugs work a treat!
My top tips for a good sleepover are to have them on a Friday night so that they (and us!)can recover before school on Monday!
We bought a cheap digital camera a few years ago and when we have sleepovers we let them have the camera and encourage them to take turns and take lots of pictures. In the morning we load them onto the computer and they love watching them. We have had some great pictures over the years!
Oops, I forgot to add which prize I would like to win!
I would like to win the funky rabbits washbag please as my son is starting to go on more sleepovers now and needs his own washbag, rather than my flowery one which he hates using! The colours of this washbag are great and I know he will love it and hopefully use it, rather than hiding it in his bag like he has started doing with mine.
Our son had a friend for a sleepover, whilst his parents had dinner with us downstairs. Part way through our main course we heard footsteps on the landing and the friend whispering “James has got a problem”. “What is it?” we replied. “He’s stuck under the bed!”. We went to investigate and found he’d climbed in to the space under his bed, that had been left from pulling out the guest bed and was unable to get back out again. We had to pretend to be cross, whilst chuckling at his misadventure.
I forgot to say, our preferred prize is the sleeping bag, and I’ve tweeted.
Congratulations to Ian who wins the prize for this competition
